Dame Dash has responded to Steve Stoute’s comments on Club Shay Shay, accusing him of behaving badly and being the cause of the breakdown between him and Jay-Z.
Stoute added, “Dame’s antics, were just, it became—people over time, you mature,” 53-year-old Stoute said. “It’s like you have friends at 16, but by the time you turn 19, they were still doing the same shit when you were 16. … You start spending less and less time with them because of that.”
Dame Dash, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, and JAY-Z founded Roc-A-Fella Records in 1994 but in 2004 The Island Def Jam Music Group purchased the label.
Dame saw the interview clip and hopped online to respond.
“This is the reason I had to smack the sh-t out of @stevestoute a couple years ago…because he’s always speaking on other men’s business good thing I’ve evolved.”
