Honoring 90’s R&B group Xscape (styled as XSCAP3) with the “ASCAP Golden Note Award” and the Hip Hop trio, Migos with the “ASCAP Vanguard Award.”
Celebrities and friends of the R&B group came out en masses to support the group and even shared with us their favorite Xscape song.
“Oh my God!! All the music from Xscape was so amazing,” Mona Scott Young said. “You know what was so amazing when we brought the ladies together, they hit those notes without missing a beat, they have still got it, and that’s when you know something special is happening.” But, I love all Xscape’s music, I love everything they represent and I love the nostalgia that I feel when I listen to their music.”
