22-year-old director Karam Gill’s “G Funk” Documentary about the origins of “Long Beach Hip-Hop” drops July 11th on YouTube. Originally a standout showing at the 2017 SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. The Film received praises on insight it the minds of “213” members Warren G, Snoop Dogg, and last but never least The Late Great Nathaniel Dwayne Hale a.k.a. “Nate Dogg”.
The Film Chronicles the three from the 90’s to now, including the untimely death of the “Never Leave Me Alone” Crooner Nate Dogg. With Interviews from a “Who’s Who List of Legends” ranging from The D.O.C. and the “Iconic” George Clinton to Football great Deion Sanders and Bay Area G.O.A.T. Too Short.
