Ralo knew it was coming.
“I kept seeing the police continually mess with me, just harass me,” says the Atlanta trap rapper. “I knew they were gonna try and come up with something to arrest me. Once these people want you, they’re gonna do whatever they gotta do to get you.”
Sure enough, the 23-year-old rapper behind the Famerica record label ended up in federal custody this past April, charged with two counts of marijuana possession with intent to sell. Following unsuccessful court appearances to secure his pre-trial release by way of bond, he remains at the Robert A. Deyton Detention Facility in Georgia.
