Out of the NFL for nearly two years now former San Francisco 49ers quarterback,Colin Kaepernick became the face of Nike’s 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign. According to Nike, it’s a “wide endorsement” that will include his own branded apparel and footwear. The former NFL star is also reportedly on a “star” deal on par with the deals top NFL players sign.
Nike’s move to sign Kaepernick has angered many and started a boycott. The hip-hop community is rallying behind the quarterback. “J U S T D O I T 4 K A P,” 2 Chainz also showed his support for Kaepernick, sharing a screenshot of the new Nike campaign and adding a shot at President Donald Trump, “Can’t wait to see what the tangerine gone say about @nike this is super legend.”
