2020 was a crazy year, even at its end it didn’t let up. Corona struck another celebrity just before the end of 2020. On Wednesday (Dec. 30) Dj Mustard (real name Dijon McFarlane) shocked fans and followers when he broke the news on social media revealing that he was officially diagnosed with Coronavirus AKA COVID-19.
Dj Mustard took to his Instagram Stories, writing, “Tested positive for covid send a prayer up for ya boy …”
The music producer married his longtime girlfriend, model Chanel Thierry, on Oct. 10 in a small backyard ceremony attended by Ella Mai, as well as the couple’s three children together.
Dj Mustard did not share any additional details regarding his health.
Mustard joins the long lists of celebrities who have gone public with their diagnosis with COVID-19 this year.
