In a year that has seen a cancelled a tour in the wake of a rape allegation, it’s now been revealed that Riff Raff will stand trial next year in a separate sexual assault case concerning a 2014 incident at a Nevada brothel.
As Pitchfork reports, a woman identified only as Jane Doe filed a civil suit against the Houston rapper (born Horst Christian Simco) and collaborator DollaBillGates (Eric Lasaan Bing), accusing the two men of sexual assault, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment, and civil conspiracy.
The civil case was originally filed on October 23, 2014, and will come before a jury in come before a Washoe County, NV, on May 28, 2019
